Happy mothering days
Good friends and fellow artists, JR and Jose Parla are in Cuba at the moment, completing the Wrinkles of the City project. This public art project is set up in time for the 11th Havana Biennial, turning the streets into works of art. Large-scale photo print posters of JR works harmoniously with the free flowing calligraphy style of Parla, which then blends in effortlessly against the characteristic city. On Sunday, May 13, both artists are slated to give a presentation at the aforementioned event.
